Portrait time

My noseless friend sans her cat since I don't know how to paint a cute cat...I'll figure it out. Also, trying on a new style.

  1. once in a while I really need to do something in a complete different style to keep my ideas and creativity fresh. I tried some nude paintings in a rather rough and cartoony style and really enjoy them (can be seen on my blog if you're interested :] )I really like this piece and the amount of details are balanced out with parts completely without where the eye can rest.
    for some reason I dig the folds on the sleave of the coat, the face and hair most. :)
