Nightworld environments

Last year I spent some time making art for this little iOS title. It came and went, but I thought it could have been cool if given more time. I love top-down/isometric, stealth/tactics gameplay. I had a couple months to bang out all the concepts for character, environment, and weapons, and models for the characters and weapons. Not very polished, although I'm happy with the amount of work done in the time. This is also marks my first time being an environment concept artist! I definitely need more environment practice.

Conan the Destroyer

So I finally painted Conan. I love this character.

Conan enjoys long treks across the tundra, reading ancient scrolls atop a pile of skulls, and standing butt naked in the snow. CROM laughs at your Four Winds!

New Starcraft Book

Did this almost 3 years ago! Finally on shelves :) Go buy it! I'm sure it's awesome.

Here are a few early concepts for the Ranger which eventually lead to the Demonhunter class in D3. I can't wait to play this class the way it finally turned out. In my opinion it's the closest thing to a Gothic-fantasy styled character in the current Diablo hero lineup.

Vulcan Raven color rough

I've always wanted to paint a series of portraits of my favorite cartoon/comicbook/ and videogame characters, so here's the first! Vulcan Raven from Metal Gear Solid. Just a sketch for now, but I'll post WIP's as I move along.

The figure in the middle was me drawing poorly. My linework has suffered over the years and it doesn't get any worse than getting used to a cintiq then having your computer break and being forced to resort to the old Wacom tablet/laptop combo you used to use years ago. Anyway, I tried to make the initial pose more dynamic with the recomposing of the figure on the right.

The Lich King

Coolest character from Warcraft 3 - Death Knight Arthas as the Lich King. I think this piece has seen use as a soundtrack CD or magazine cover somewhere, so naturally it gets posted in here. :)
